Guess what? RAMBO supports gun control

according to this list released by the NRA:

According to the NRA, celebrities who believe in some sort of gun control in America (the most violent industrialized nation) include: Jack Nicholson, Sylvester Stallone, Dick Van Dyke, George Clooney and Lauren Bacall.

If Rambo supports Gun Control you'd think that the Rambo wannbes would at least consider it.

He never did any of that stuff in real life. Unlike genuine heroes like Ronald Reagan and John Wayne.

2. Actually, I waited on him once at Darryl's 1827 in Nashville.

It was when he and Dolly Parton were filming Rhinestone. He had come in the night before with his full entourage and was impressed by the atmosphere and food - although I think he was most impressed with his red-haired waitress Danielle.

He came in alone with Dolly, on what he obviously intended to be a "date". They sat in the "Carousel" which was an actual converted TN County Fair carousel car on the second floor that had been attached to look out over the first floor bar and fitted with a table with folding flaps. Probably the coolest and most romantic table in the whole restaurant.

He was a total jerk. Dolly was wonderful! When Stallone went to the restroom, Dolly seemed embarrassed and even apologized for his behavior. I was used to waiting on celebrities, so he didn't bother me at all. And, BTW, it's true that the rich are the WORST tippers (I used to tell other wait staff "how do you think they got rich in the first place? they don't let go of their money!&quot

I'm not a fan of country music at all - but I LOVE Dolly!

And Stallone was one of the shortest guys I've ever seen! I assume that's why he developed the "tough guy" persona in the first place. He was trying to compensate.

3. One of my favorite Raygun stories

...is where he stood up in front of the National Medal of Honor society and told an inspiring story about a posthumously awarded Medal of Honor recipient who was a B-17 pilot that went down with his crewmate. Raygun had repeated the same story in different venues. The only problem was it never happened other than in a movie.
