Is it possible to be a good Democrat while also owning any type of cell phone or computer?

Knowing what we know about Conflict Minerals and the near impossibility of properly recycling the toxic junk when we are done with it, how can anyone here justify owning one?

2. Depends on how old your computer is

Since I own an older Mac(gotta love Macs, they keep on going and going), I'm secure in the knowledge that it doesn't contain any conflict minerals. Newer computers however. . .?
