Romney's offshore accounts explode the "job creator" myth

His tax returns will show how much Romney benefited from the very generous tax breaks which we are always being told will "create jobs".

But they will also show what these people do with these benefits. They don't create jobs, they STASH THE CASH.

You raise their taxes, it's not going to hurt jobs, it's just going to make their STASH a tiny bit smaller.

...it will just slow down how fast it gets bigger.

But of course, it's Divine Right to siphon wealth as much as possible as fast as possible as high as possible. Only "socialists" would disagree.

2. The whole idea of calling them "job creators" is moronic to begin with

Let's say you have a choice between...

A) Giving 5,000 people who make less than $50,000 a $200 tax break...

or...

B) Giving one Romney type person a $1,000,000 tax break.

Which one of those options is going to create more jobs?

Both will cost $1,000,000 in lost revenue. Option A has just about a 100% chance of creating more jobs because someone with a $50,000 income is almost certainly going to spend that $200. Whereas giving someone like Romney $1,000,000 means they will have that much more cash to put in their Cayman islands bank account which creates zero jobs, or they might invest that money overseas which creates zero jobs domestically.

Ergo, a person with a $50,000 yearly income is just as much of a "job creator" than Romney, if not more so, yet that person pays a higher tax rate than Romney.

Romney can become the poster boy for many of the issues and right wing ideas that need to be aired and corrected: the job creator myth, the unfairly minimal taxes on capital gains and the rich, the wealth inequality in the country, etc.

Obama can say, no, America will continue, but your offshore accounts won't have as much money in them, that's all.
