Newt to Pelosi - 'Put up or shut up...bring it on'

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich responded to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, California Democrat, who said on Wednesday night on CNN's John King that Mr. Gingrich would never become President of the United States.

"There is something I know. The Republicans, if they choose to nominate him that's their prerogative," said Congresswoman Pelosi. "I don't even think that's going to happen."

Mr. Gingrich appeared on The Washington Times affiliated radio program "America's Morning News" and forcefully responded to Rep. Pelosi.

"There's almost a level of hysteria about the prospect of somebody who really wants to change Washington," said Mr. Gingrich to host John McCaslin.

"I have a simple challenge for Speaker Pelosi...you know, put up or shut up. I mean, I have no idea what she's talking about. I don't think she has any idea what she's talking about, but bring it on," he said.

Hmm I'm pretty sure she's saying you will lose. I mean figuring that out is a lot easier than say being President.

To bring it on all she has to do is wait for the eventual Newt loss. She brought it on Newt. Show her wrong. Why would Pelosi be hysterical over Newt changing Washington? She was around when he promised change and totally ignored his contract on America and instead focused on blue dresses and huge ethic violations. I'm pretty sure Pelosi's been around Washington enough to understand what underwhelming change Newt's got.

I'm not often much on politically correct speech --- but when it comes to Newt, talking about Nancy Pelosi -- using the word that way comes across as crass and misogynistic.

He's a bully. IF he has no idea what she is talking about, then perhaps he shouldn't bother to declare what he thinks hysteria is.
