Presidential Limo to sport "Taxation without Representation" DC tags

After four years, President Obama is finally going to have the "Taxation without Representation" DC tags put on the Presidential limo.

Those of us in the DC area have been fighting for DC representation rights for years. As usual, the Republicans in Congress keep voting against it.

Bill Clinton had the tags on his limo during his presidency. Many of us supported getting Obama to put them on during his first term but it didn't happen. It's great to see it's finally a done deal. As far as it's effectiveness, it usually doesn't do much other then a symbolic gesture but having the plates on the President's limo is a slap in the face at those who oppose DC representation rights which has over 600,000 residents.

The plates will go on the limo this weekend in time for the Inauguration.
