With The Repugs Caving On The Deficit Ceiling Cable News Will Be Talking Guns 24/7.....

as it is an issue that gets people to tune in. This is good in my opinion because it extends the news cycle of this issue and keeps it prominent in the minds of Americans. I don't think the NRA will be happy with this. Again the Repugs create a problem for themselves. They either get their money hoarding supporters pissed by threatening to shutdown the government or their gun nut supporters pissed at them for keeping the gun control argument in the spotlight. Cool!!!!

under this much scrutiny, I agree. The longer people talk about it, the more restrictive the laws passed will be (see also gun rights advocates on DU being the loudest supporters of "back to the Gungeon with gun threads&quot .

people are understanding just how big the gun problem is. Normal folks are suddenly realizing that "gun control" doesn't mean taking away your legal pistol in a background checked home or your Dad's hunting rifle. It's about these anti-goverment nuts and "gun collectors" who own guns made to kill people en masse. Society won't stand for it.
