My Congressman, rightwingnut John Culberson, believes that it is American's right to have guns anywhere. He recently sent me an email stating this:
"I will not compromise on our absolute right to keep and bear arms."
I've sent him an email asking if that includes the right to possess grenades and rocket launchers, but, naturally, he hasn't responded.
Why couldn't Americans carry weapons to the Inauguration? It's a public place, right?

(1,689 posts)and CCW is not legal there (yet). But legal or not it doesn't stop a person from putting a pistol in their pocket and walking down the street. The only time concealed carry can be controlled is at check points, like the airport or building entrances.
