Did I just see that crazy woman Brewer sticking her finger in Obama's face?

Normally politicians greet one another with pleasantries, even if they don’t particularly like each other. Not so today with President Barack Obama and Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer, who met Air Force One when it touched down outside of Phoenix.

It was clear from the moment they greeted one another on the tarmac that this wouldn’t me your typical grip and grin. At one point, she was pointing her finger at him, and at another, they were talking at the same time, seemingly over each other. Then he appeared to walk away from her while she was still talking.

It started when she handed him a letter and said she was inviting him to meet with her. The president replied that he’d be glad to meet with her again “but did note that after their last meeting, a cordial discussion in the Oval Office, the governor inaccurately described the meeting in her book,” a senior administration official said.

He was referring to her book, “Scorpions for Breakfast,” which is harshly critical of the president. The pair has clashed sharply on immigration policy, with the Obama administration suing Arizona to block its enforcement measure. In the book, she described an Oval Office meeting, and claimed he was lecturing and patronizing, something the White House says is not true.

I think President Obama's Presidency will be framed by history in the same context as forced integration was back in the day. They'll talk about the kids that were afraid for their lives and the bullies in their faces and the courage and dignity with which they handled it/President Obama handled it.

Not to mention the death threats this President has received. No other President in history has been under this much threat.

struggle for integration when she stood there and screamed at Elizabeth, one of the Little Rock Nine on the day they integrated that school?

Hazel's face is hideously distorted with hatred and rage, and she later was embarrassed and ashamed about the picture and reached out to apologize to Elizabeth.

A book, Elizabeth and Hazel: Two Women of Little Rock tells their story.

Here are some pictures with different angles on the iconic picture that the girl grew to be so ashamed of:
