Happy Inauguration Day, DU!

I feel as if we've fought a long, horrifying and valiant battle. Think of it! As much as we might feel hounded by the Right Wing, we've had a year filled with the ascension of those who believe in human rights and are going to continue to work for us all.

When you're feeling low, remember. The road is long, the pace is slow, but we are travelling with great souls.

Happy Second Term. We, the People, have spoken.

I had to read three articles before coming upon an explanation; that it's traditional not to hold the public event if the 20th falls on a Sunday.

Ah, tradition.

Still, Partay!

But us West Coasters who aren't taking a holiday and don't go to work late will miss it. Dumb old tradition.

I believe we should reflect on how we would be feeing about the future of our nation if he had not won. I know I would be feeling great remorse today.

Our president is not perfect, but he is a decent man, who cares about people. We may not agree with everything he does, but we need to be thankful that he is there to protect us.

The alternative is unconscionable...

We're getting ready to watch the President's Inauguration ceremony and will raise a glass of wine in celebration.

I know you'll agree on that one. The same great souls teach us that.
