She looks wonderful. I've worn my hair in bangs most of my life as I have an ugly forehead (IMO) the look hides a lot of flaws. Good to see it back in style.

I've actually talked a few women out of bangs because they had such beautifully shaped foreheads. It's not that I prefer bangs, but instead that you enhance your good features and downplay the bad ones as much as possible.

I like the hairdo as a hairdo, but I have reservations about it on these grounds:

The first thing you notice now is the hair, not the face. Michelle Obama has a beautiful face, and all these bangs cover it up. She's lucky to have such a beautiful face, and I preferred it when she showed more of it. (I'm also thinking the do is a bit too young.) Maybe I just need to get used to it. Or maybe it's just my motherly instincts: "You've got such a shayne punim, bubbala, don't cover it up!"

Simply because she changes her look all the time. Each look has been a good one on her. She just has one of those faces that stylists love because there's very little that doesn't look good on her. Short hair, pulled back, long hair, parted on either side or bangs all look good on her.
