Didn't think I'd get all goo-goo this 2nd time around but seeing all these people lined up and down the streets, the huge numbers on the mall and now going to resort to Plan Z and grab some Kleenex.
Oh yea, the kid's choir singing some sweet song on CSPAN got me going too.

(22,298 posts)& we were about even with the Washington Monument, between it & the White House. Crowd looks like it doesn't quite reach back that far, but damn skippy, it's bigger than I thought it would be.

(157 posts)Let us reunite with his revolutionary spirit of change
Our only hope today lies in our ability to recapture the revolutionary spirit and go out into a sometimes hostile world declaring eternal hostility to poverty, racism, and militarism.
We must move past indecision to action. We must find new ways to speak for peace in Vietnam and justice throughout the developing world, a world that borders on our doors. If we do not act we shall surely be dragged down the long, dark and shameful corridors of time reserved for those who possess power without compassion, might without morality, and strength without sight.
