The Inauguration is for me like a football game or something!

I guess I just realized what a Political Geek I really AM...

Got up early to drive the BF to work, and luckily I didn't miss too much!
Here on the west coast, it's still before 8am, lol

I don't watch football but inauguration day for Obama I plan on watching all day.

It's the ceremony, the passing of the torch, the re-affirmation of what we want as a collective. I find the historical stuff fascinating, and use it as a tool to show my kids how it's meant to be. There is something powerful about the fact that every congess member is sworn in, just like the Pres & VP.. and how each branch of govt is represented here at this ceremony.
