This dude in the hotel lobby where my wife and I are staying till we find housing was bitching to the desk clerk that this country is going communist socialist and if we all dont watch it we will all be living in a socialist country very soon.

I asked him this. Was President Obama fairly and without a doubt elected POTUS?

Yes he said.

I then said our Democracy is working then...what are you worried about. If our country wanted to elect an elitist,rich,out of touch destroyer of jobs BAFOON we would be swearing in that other guy...RIGHT!

As I saw the desk clerk a bit later I gently said it is best to not lend an ear to people who dont have sound political arguments..that is why America has not got a lot done the last two years.
