My dear friend's daughter is in the US Army Fife and Drum Corps

So when you see them in the parade, give an extra loud cheer for my friend. She's a proud mom today.

...why are we paying for a drum and fife corps in the 21st Century?

And those Air Force rock bands and all those nice golf courses?

Call me grumpy, but any day is a good day to think about cutting military spending.
