For the last two or three weeks gas has been jumping up and down almost daily. It was down to around 2.95 and then boinged up to around 3.29. Then down to 3.12. Then up to about 3.25. Then back to 3.12. Then up to 3.16. Then up to 3.29, etc. Given that our dear old country is exporting tons of refined gasoline, what is up with this? I think there might be some gouging going on. Hmmmm?

(96 posts)Gas has risen to $3.49 at just about every station here and has stayed there for weeks. The scary thing is that we live in a lower cost area....central PA. Don't want to think about LA or NYC or even Philadelphia, for that matter.

I haven't even taken my car out for the last several weeks, so I had to look up what the current prices are.
