When I heard the clip from the senator that embarrasses Kentucky daily, my first thought was:
this has nothing to do with any embassy, any safety or anything else but to put Hillary on a stage where they can supposedly show she is not competent to be president. And in case any body missed that they would make sure that Mr. senate embarrassment would make the statement "i would have let you go."
That is all this show was about. Taking their first shots at weakening Hillary for 2016. They are playing their LONG game. Might I add their stupid game also.

(9,463 posts)The scum r fuckers wanted these hearings in order to question Sec of State Clinton's competency to be president. That's all this kabuki theater regarding Benghazi is and that's all it has been since the very beginning of the RWNJ's obsession with it.

(19,877 posts)It's a witch-hunt to weaken the Democratic party's top candidate (according to polling). Her taking responsibility (when we all know she is at no fault) is an act of CLASS. I've still NEVER heard an apology from the GOP for WMD's (OR for trashing the economy & Constitution in the process).

(7,212 posts)Early and often..........the whole Rice issue never made sense......still doesn't....they want to stifle Hillary before she decides....it's a strategy and obvious to me...at least IMO

(13,877 posts)They tried hard...and failed. As usual, Hillary walked away with her dignity and reputation intact. She's paid a heavy price over the decades to serve and to lead and to take more political fertilizer than most.
If that was the best they could come up with, they might again be addressing yet another ... President Clinton.
