They refused to build a Death Star, is it too much to ask that they audit the Military and DHS?

Please consider signing the White House Petition to "Conduct a complete fiscal audit of all Military and DHS Spending".

Please also share this link as widely as you can. 100,000 signatures are needed to get a White House response (only 99,750 to go!).

It's too expensive. Without auditing the DOD and DHS, I have to wonder if the money for a death star might just be there!

My brother worked for them for years. That they get audited is not the issue, the real problem is that they keep the number of auditors very low so that they have to rush through things. The other huge issue is that they 'settle' with those found ripping off the government for pennies on the dollar and a promise not to do it again (which is always ignored). The final big issue is that auditors tend to go to work for military contractors after leaving DoD to show them how to hide stuff from being found.

I'm at work and trying to put things out quick and not completing my thoughts

I am agreeing that it should be completed but, IMO, until they resolve the issue it will not happen correctly.
