Maybe President Obama should use his hometown of Chicago as a model for firearms reform. This epidemic is a disgrace and Obama and Rham Emannuel need to work together to find a solution, this plague has got to stop.

I don't think taking all the guns a way is the solution either. There is a root cause such as a social economic problem.

Five are dead and at least another five have been wounded in weekend gun violence, including two separate double-homicide shootings that occurred about 12 hours apart.

The most recent shooting was an afternoon double-homicide on the West Side, police said.

About 4:15 p.m. officers were called to the 4200 block of West Congress Parkway in the West Garfield Park neighborhood, police said. A boy in his teens and a man in his 30s were both found dead in the street with bullet wounds to the head, authorities said.

No one was in custody as Area North detectives investigated.

Because that is where he move to the White House from and celebrated election night.he also was a State Senator from there, lived there while being a US Senator as well. He also owns a home there and votes there. That would make Chicago his hometown.

Last I heard, he was President of The United States. I don't think he has any authority over Illinois or Chicago. They have their own government officials. The President can only deal with national issues.
