Some notes on Chuckie Todd's choice for lunch partners

While we are waiting for a response from CT (don't hold your breath) about why he had lunch with Ohio SOS Jon Husted, and why he agreed with Jon that "redistricting reform" needs to happen in Ohio and across the US, I thought I would compile a few notes about Chuckie's new lunch partner.

1. MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry takes it to Jon Husted

MHP: What do you think of your colleague having lunch with Mr. Husted? All innocent, I bet. Doesn't Chuckie have access to all that raw AP exit poll data?

2. Those pesky "experimental" software patches

Chuckie, is that "redistricting reform"?

3. Remember when Chuckie said right before the election that all those voting machine stories belonged right up there with birtherism? I do. Kinda takes on a new meaning now, knowing about Chuckie's choice of lunch partners.

4. Who paid for lunch, Chuckie?

Those are just a few notes.

2 thoughts crossed my mind. There is no such thing as a free lunch. and Never shake hands with a war criminal (or a vote suppressor).

Never could figure out why these suck-ups were so cozy with Repukes except for the tax cut issue..
I kinda wondered if Chuckie and his friends were on the Koch Bros bonus bucks list during the election?

His methods of suppression and misdirection have surpassed his mentor, Mr. "Let's give it to Shrub" Ken Blackwell. The only reason we had a rational election in 2008 was Jennifer Brunner, the SoS between these 2 buttholes. She did a great job and was rewarded by the stellar brilliance of Ohio's Democratic Committee that threw their support for Governor to then Lt Gov Lee Fisher in the Senate primary.

Fisher won the primary, Brunner went home and Portman went to Washington in November.

The Committee conversation regarding Fisher was that he deserved their support in light of his long commitment to the party. So they took someone like Brunner, who has all the smarts and guts to stand up to the likes of Kasich & Co, and sent her back to the private sector because she wasn't a long time vet of the party - she only made sure that the state could vote fairly.

It is sometimes amazing to me that we can take a bunch of indivudals who are very smart, committed democrats in their own right but when we put them in a room together, they somehow catch the "collective stupid" and do chit like supporting Fisher - a guy who, even if he did a WONDERFUL job in the senate, was a maximum one-termer. Brunner polled stronger against portman and could have put a pin in his political aspirations and started what might have been a multi term run for her.

Sheesh.
