...I'm surprised I haven't heard his comments about having more "flexibility" with gun control after he gets re-elected than I have.

. . . already built into any compromise legislation. No need for him to egg that on. It'll be enough of an effort to just keep the proposals he's made intact. The recalcitrant votes will provide whatever daylight there is between his recommendations and what Congress is willing to reconcile and pass.

The only way to reassure pro 2nd Amendment right people is for him to continue respecting the 2nd Amendment and its supporters.

Based on the tone of the comments, the MSM thinks he made up the skeet story. Jay Carney wasn't convincing. Let's just leave it at that. No need to appease the NRA because they're never going to change their beliefs about him. Presidential gun photos only inspire more people to buy guns.
