Scarborough on Palin: Fox News chief decided ‘she’s not worth the trouble’

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough said on Monday that the split between ex-vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and Fox News marked a turning point in GOP philosophy — particularly from the man he called the Republican party’s “de facto leader,” Fox News Channel chair Roger Ailes.

“He’s run the party, he’s run the conservative movement,” Scarborough said of Ailes. “And when Roger Ailes decides she’s not worth the trouble, then that means conservatism’s moving in a new direction.”

It simply means, as your post title states, that Palin was simply too much of a pain in the ass to keep on the payroll any longer.

I don't know what conservatism means. But the goal of the republican party and fox news hasn't changed. It's still about robbing the poor to give to the rich.

5. She wouldn't follow the rules and she offered Ailes virtually nothing for his money.

That's it plain and simple.

Remember when she went off at the "liberal media" in that Facebook video after Giffords was shot, the highly controversial one where she used the anti-Semitic "blood liable" phrase? That was the beginning of the end of her time with FOX. It was reported at the time she'd been warned by Ailes, but being as her ego greatly inflated her value in her mind, she did what she wanted to anyway. He was not impressed with her show of independence when she was on his payroll. To make it worse when she was actually on FOX she tossed out word salads that were were incoherent rants laced with the same small handful of catch phrases she could remember. She couldn't even keep up with FOXes latest talking points, she was that out of touch.

I never understood why her 15 minutes lasted as long as they did. She's an egotistical, high maintenance, blabbering fool.

.... Paul Ryan, methinks, to be the 'pinup girl' for the TeaNutters philosophy.

I would have thought Rand Paul but he showed his ass at the Benghazi hearings last week.

"source close to her" saying that she decided it was time to leave and take her bullshit on the road because failin quitter believed that she was "preaching to the chorus" on faux news.

I'm thinking the "source close to her" is failin quitter herself.

is there anything she doesn't lie about?
