Dialect ("accent") of the night?!1 The choir singing Star-Spangled Banner or Ricky on immigration?

It was like *WTF* with that choir singing it with a weird Brit dialect, like, what was THAT?!1 Granted that the melody was recycled from an English drinking song, but this choir sounded like it came with the recycling of both century and accent. Spooky spooky spooky.

Then in an early question, Ricky dragged out his pandering on the topic of immigration, getting maudlin but sounding more and more with a rugged yet tender some kind of Latino thing going on. And late in the night, he did the edgy "shout out" to his Puerto Rican pal he "went to church together" with a yeah-I-actually-*know*-some-kind-of-Hispanic thing. But that early rolling drawl, oh-Ricky!1
