Job ad: Now even American *journalists* make too much money

http://www.journalismjobs.com/Job_Listing.cfm?JobID=1466295

This is a new journalist/management rotation program for entry-level journalists to gain experience in community print & video journalism while working outside the United States (Beijing, China). Two of our weekly newspapers are located in Southern California and the third is in Henderson, Nevada (for examples of our daily video news broadcast see www.hendersonpress.com and www.thevalleychronicle.com... iPhone/Android app keywords "the valley chronicle&quot .

Note: This on-the-job program is located in our research and operations center in Beijing, China. This is where we centralize layout, video and ad production, support, etc. Several American journalists are currently working at this office.

... Compensation: lodging near our Beijing office plus a stipend for food and spending money.

Really? I wonder whether the folks back home know that their papers are being produced in China by un(der)paid cheap labor.
