Every single one of them. We can only imagine how adamant and confrontational they would have been if President Obama had nominated a Democrat for the position?

John McCain has shown his ass. Lindsey Graham and Sessions have acted like goobers. Ayotte has been totally indoctrinated by her fellow nutcases. It's becoming more and more obvious that there is not a sane Republican in their entire Party.

They are more concerned about what Rush will say about them then they are about the national defense of this country. It is a pitiful sight.

1. They're trying to trap him into making damaging soundbites that will be headlines.

Hagel knows that. Both he and Obama know he's going to get bludgeoned. He just needs to avoid saying anything TODAY that will somehow disqualify him. He is doing well in that regard. Also, there's a question of temperament--Hagel needs to stay cool and calm and not get angry.
