3. If you think about the human race itself and the survival of the human race...

you have to wonder, how can the human race expect to survive when their existence is based on one planet to survive on? Something happens to the planet we all base our existence over and the human race just as the dinosaurs all could go into extinction.

Just saying, it could be a good idea for the human race to expand beyond just this one planet.

During the Apollo program and the others leading up to it, we had a 70% top marginal tax rate, strong regulation of the financial sector, industrial policy that focused on manufacturing rather than speculation, and politicians that maintained at least the pretense of civility, and actually pulled it off most of the time.

Newt wants to spend billions of dollars to expand the harbor in Jacksonville to accommodate larger vessels after the expansion of the Panama Canal. Nevermind the fact that there is already a very large harbor nearby in Savannah.
