Sandusky asks judge to let him visit with his grandchildren

Despite being accused of child sex abuse, Jerry Sandusky is asking a judge to modify the terms of his bail so he can see his grandchildren, according to court documents.

Sandusky, a former Penn State assistant football coach, was charged in November with sexually abusing young boys over a 14-year period. Prosecutors contend he met many of the boys through his charity, The Second Mile.

Sandusky, who has denied the charges, was released on a $100,000 bail in November and barred by a Pennsylvania judge from having unsupervised visits with his grandchildren. The judge also prohibited the children from staying overnight at Sandusky's home.

This week, Sandusky's lawyer filed a motion urging a judge to allow him to visit with his grandchildren because his "eleven minor grandchildren... have expressed their sadness to their parents about not being able to visit or talk" with him, the court documents said.

After hearing the horrific charges on November 5, Ms Jones urged her ex-husband to keep the children away from their grandfather, The Daily reported.

SNIP
Later that day Sandusky's wife Dorothy sent Ms Jones a text message informing her that Matt had taken the children to her State College, Pennsylvania home, but that Sandusky was not present.

Mrs Sandusky also phoned Ms Jones to try to persuade her that the children would be safe around her husband, the documents said, according to The Daily.

Ms Jones was unwavering, though, and successfully obtained a restraining order forbidding the children from sleeping over at their grandparents' home and banning Sandusky from seeing them unsupervised.

So apparently he can visit with them as long as the visits are supervised.

Why does he need unsupervised visits with the kids?
Is it because he wants to threaten them if they tell on him?

What can he and the children get out of an unsupervised visit that they cannot get from a supervised visit?
This seems suspicious.

Um, looks like I can't. Not just NO, but SHIT NO, HELL NO, and FUCK NO. I don't give two shits if he IS innocent until proven guilty. Until he is cleared as innocent, which is highly unlikely at this point, he needs to be kept away from ALL minor children, supervised or not. A creep like him needs only a minute to do something nasty.

This just tells you how sick he really is. He's so desperate for a little boy at this point that he's willing to do it to his own grandkids. Only the most naive of people would approve of him having visitation with a child, supervised or not, unless it's through a glass window where he CAN'T get to them and there is another non-sick adult listening to every word that is said.

He's definitely sick and this whole thing just gets weirder by the day. From the attorney to the Bob Costas interview to the now 100s of accusations against him, he's going down and he won't last too long in prison as I hear they don't take too kindly to pedophiles.

it pisses me off to no end that fucking Paterno (who publicly endorsed Bush) was given a hero's funeral. Once again it shows that money means more than people.

I've been watching this case very closely because it's just a colossal fuck up on so many levels. What to me is the scariest aspect of this whole thing is that the FBI used his book (ironically called "Touched"... ) to identify victims 4 - 9. Which one, really makes me wonder how long this has been going on and two - if Paterno knew about it. They took away his keys in 2002 after he molested a kid in his office. It just... gets weirder and weirder.
