Associated Press= PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Democrats and their allies have pumped more than $1 million into an Oregon special election race to replace former Rep. David Wu. Republicans have spent $85,000.

Wu is a Democrat who resigned last year after an 18-year-old woman accused him of making an unwanted sexual advance.

Voters in the Portland-area district have until Tuesday evening to return their ballots in the all-mail election.

Republican candidate Rob Cornilles (kohr-NIHL'-us) owns a sports marketing business and has pitched himself as a job creator. Former Democratic state Sen. Suzanne Bonamici (bahn-uh-MEECH'-ee) has emphasized their experience in the Legislature.
