Give those with the courage to hit the streets the dignity to succeed, fail, be human and evolve. I support them all. Yes.....Go Occupy. Everywhere.

That are virtually inactive at all other times, but come in gangs when Occupy hits the news and piss all over the threads here.

Hmmm. Does that make me question their motives?

This train wreck is still moving, headed for a cliff. Why stay on it?

4. We'll see a lot more of that after the White House orders the Park Police to tear down the DC camp

There's an email message floating around that somehow Daryl Issa pressured the US Park Police to enforce anti-camping rules, but in fact, USPP is a part of the Interior Department, and makes its own rules and decides when to enforce them as does any other federal agency.

In other words, the White House decides how to play this one.

7. I expect that they will eventually make laws

or enforce laws to clear out all the camps before the election. It's ok. (not ok, but ok in the sense that we will survive it) Spring is coming. We didn't have tents in the beginning and we will work around it when they close us down.

I'm sure there is much much more in the OWS plans than just camping. The people who have held ground since the beginning will take it the hardest, but make no mistake, Occupy will continue. They have been making plans during the winter. THere will be change.

When an OWS action doesn't go the way you want, you tell your fellow DUers to fuck off.

How very progressive of you!

9. Occupy Wall Street worked; Occupy Oakland is bullshit and fucked up

Occupy Wall Street succeeded in bringing the nations attention to the issue of income disparity.

Occupy Oakland is dissapating the movement built up by Occupy Wall Street.

It is the worst of the Occupy Me Toos.

what occupy is telling America. They've destroyed their own credibility. It's really a shame; it could have done a lot of good.

they never really cared for the movement, especially because it is seen as a thorn in this admin's side.

12. As much as I like Obama, I think he needs a left-winged thorn in his side.

I come from the "I agree with you. I want to do it. Now make me do it!" school here.

But yes, I've noticed that Obama's rhetoric has become more populist as of late, as has the rhetoric of many other politicians.

I'd say that Occupy is working just fine in that regard.
