Palin tells Florida voters to "rage against the machine"

http://news.yahoo.com/sarah-palin-rage-against-machine-vote-newt-annoy-031748010.html

“And I say, you know, you’ve got to rage against the machine at this point in order to defend our republic and save what is good and secure and prosperous about our nation,” Palin continued. “We need somebody who is engaged in sudden and relentless reform and is not afraid to shake up the establishment. So, if for no other reason, rage against the machine, vote for Newt, annoy a liberal, vote Newt, keep this vetting process going, keep the debate going.”

Oh, the irony...

OK, maybe it's not her specifically, but someone on her team is deliberately stealing progressive ideas and turning them into vapid Republican talking points. She's also been using the term "crony capitalism". This is not a coincidence.

You don't rage against the machine by electing one of its cogs.

"The machine" isn't progressives or even the voters in general.

The section I highlighted in bold would be a more apt description for OWS. What she's actually suggesting is to continue FEEDING THE MACHINE.

at the number of people buying the line from Newt that he isn't a Washington "insider." He's a lobbyist and former Speaker for fuck's sake. Just lets me know that some people are even more stupid than I previously thought they were.
