Most of this kind of talk comes from folks who are far from relying on government aid or assistance. I heard a man on c-span the other day who said he was a GS-12 and that he thought there were just too many people employed around him for the amount of work that existed. His view was that any furlough would be a 'vacation' for him, so he didn't see a thing to worry about. That's about the size of the concern we'll see for vulnerable folks out here.
I hate to think this way, but the sequester is a tea party or anarchist's wet dream. Let's just hope the callous class of Americans that the republicans have bred into being with their cynical and self-interested politics realize their own connection to the well-being of their neighbors. Somebody, some time ago, had to care about THEIR well-being, or they likely wouldn't have realized the successes they're enjoying today.

We have no voice, we cant afford it.
And yes, you rethug lurkers, it takes cash, and lots of it
to get a response from our elected officials.
But since rush tells you it aint so,
