enough jobs for everyone. The corporate world has no intention of creating better paying jobs or enough jobs. They intend to destroy more jobs. They do not care even if unemployment is 30%. In the GOP capitalist model living and having a job is a privilege. YOu have no right to life unless you EARN IT. You have to justify your existence and your paycheck, unless you are a CEO.
They also believe there should be NO government jobs. That the only job is a private job passed out by the "job creators".

Capitalism views everything as a competitive endeavor. At it's extreme the rewards for success and punishments for failing in this competition become out sized. The right ward swing from 1980-2008 laid that fact bare. In addition the system considers a jobless rate of 5% to be full employment.
The most unworkable alternative, authoritarian socialism had decades before collapsed under the weight of its own dogma.
The best hope is a healthy capitalism. Tempered by regulation. Supporting enough 'socialist' appendages to best serve the basic needs of the people with out to severely encumbering the wealth generation the capitalism offers
And yes the still will be winners and losers , the wealthy and un-employed

When the purpose of the economy is to make jobs for people, no profits for plutocrats, then everybody that wants one will be able to find a decent job.
