Clovis teacher accused of recording child molestation on cellphone
An elementary school teacher is facing federal charges on suspicion of molesting a 7-year-old student and using his cellphone to record the abuse.
The U.S. attorney's office Monday filed a criminal complaint against 43-year-old Neng Yang of Fresno, the Fresno Bee reported. He was arrested Friday.
Yang taught second grade at Freedom Elementary School in Clovis, a suburb of Fresno, and was removed from his job upon his arrest, the Bee reported.
The investigation is continuing, and officials said Yang could face more charges. It is not known whether there were multiple victims.
