(86,307 posts)I knew his B-day was sometime around now. I loved Dr. Seuss! The first books I ever read were his writings, carefully selected from the library... we went once a week as a ritual, and then I had memorized most of them when reading to my nieces and nephew years ago. I still have my copy of a first printing of McElligot's Pool.
