Let's hope he makes the right decision. Sadly, I don't think he will.

What it means is that we won't have a pipeline running liquid sandpaper through it cutting across our country, including sensitive environmental areas.

That tar sand oil is ultimately destined for China, it isn't for American use. We were simply going to refine it and ship it, providing the country with a modicum of jobs(less than triple digits). My guess is that if the pipeline doesn't go through, the tar sands will either be transported by truck or piped to Canada's west coast and go by transport from there.
