That's only about 55 degrees above normal.

(31,514 posts)The high today is predicted to be 68F, while our average high for this date is 50F.
Of course, the "where's your global warming now?" folks won't say anything about this.

(33,497 posts)Weather is not climate and climate is not weather. Last winter was a tough one. Was that climate change. There are records lows in Mexico and Alaska. Climate change?
The proof of climate change is not in high temperatures at one place at one time. It is a global phenomenon and it will not do to pick and choose weather events to say wether or not it exists.
The plural of anecdote is not data.

(12,121 posts)This is the USA. We're supposed to go with the 1%. To think Golly, there's still debate about the issue of whether global warming is real. The 1% tell us there is still debate, we need more studies, it is too soon to curb carbon emissions. Some of the icecaps haven't melted yet. Some of the glaciers aren't retreating. It is too soon to curb our wasteful use of fossil fuel. The oceans are only a bit warmer than they were. Some coral reefs are still alive.
We're supposed to ignore the 99%. Close our eyes. Use our emotions-- no curbs on the USA!
