LONDON, Ont. Tim Hortons said it will review its policies with employees after a teenager had an asthma attack in a London restaurant and wasn't allowed to use a store phone to call 911.
And when paramedics arrived at an exit-only door on Sunday afternoon, employees didn't let them in.
"He was visibly in distress," said Kali Sproat, who used her cellphone to call 911.
"The employee asked, 'What do you want?' kind of rudely. He said 'Help. Phone.' But she told him the phones weren't for customers there was a pay phone across the street.

(947 posts)It's freaking horrible up here.
I mean, every Canadian citizen is at fault for this - it's terrible and I feel ashamed.
It really is hell on earth up here.
Whatever you do, just stay in the US - we do not need the "civillised' Americans to come to us dirty Canadians and 'nation-build' us, or whatever your next excuse for war will be.
Oh yeah, and everyday it's freezing temps across the country, we all live in igloos, and we all kill baby seals for sport.
Like I said, no place for a 'civillised' American.

(78,249 posts)this is the kind of thing I would expect to happen here, not there. In fact, there are a few Timmies down here, especially in Michigan; I figured it was one of those.
