It's really going to upset the GOP when SocSec is set back to age 50.

That's why they are trying to get rid of it now, because they know the only solution to jobs for the next 15/20 yrs is accept the fact that after age 42 corporate will use any excuse to throw your butt to the wind.

The corporate world will be pushing the early retirement age, just to keep society civil and the sooner the GOP gets with the program the better off we will be.

As Saint Ronnie said the debt is just a talking point or it just does matter. or something.

The corporate world owns the levers of governmental power, and they want to cut away at SS as much as possible.

Lowering Medicare to age 50 (or at least offering cheap catastrophic coverage) is an easier progressive-style change to advocate.

Especially with Affordable Care and Patient Protection leading the way.
