Let's not forget that. Put us through ten years of hell, unnecessary wars andcreated this economic downward spiral we're currently (and continues to enable it). Worst network ever.

2. It is No. 1 out of 3. No. 1 only in 'Cable News'. Not first in News, also not #1 in Cable

They do not win any time slots. Their 'top ratings' are a fraction of any network newscast, their programming is less watched than re-runs of Tyler Perry's House of Payne.
#1 means they pull a few more than the other two. If you totaled all the people watching all three Cable News outlets at any time, you get less people than are watching any one of the networks.
It is good to understand what they mean when they say #1.
