From ABC news:
Al Pacino is set to star as Joe Paterno in a biopic about the Penn State football coach's life. "Scarface" director Brian De Palma is reportedly directing the film. Deadline reports the film's working title is "Happy Valley" but there's no word yet on the specific plot of the film. (Getty Images)

(5,756 posts)I read the OP several times and can't quite understand how it would lead you to reference Phil Spector. Or how Phil Spector is relevant at all to the OP.
Could you enlighten me as to how the OP compares Paterno to Spector and makes the case Paterno is worse?

(52,152 posts)I guess Spector is marginally worse since he actually did the deeds but Paterno's coverup lead to the rape of dozens maybe hundreds of children.

(12,041 posts)I wanted to say I would reserve judgment on the film out of the knowledge that not all biopics are a positive portrayal of their subject, but naming the film "Happy Valley" does not give me much hope.
