Am looking to buy a pressed powder compact and find that I can't find any with a mirror. They all seem to have clear lids so you can see the powder.
How stupid. My old one is at least 10 years old, and it's time I replaced it. Don't use much makeup, just a bit of lipstick.
You ladies who know a nice cheap brand with a mirror, let me know.
And you guys, yell into the kitchen and ask the old lady, "Honey what kind of compact do you use and does it have a mirror". And some of you liberated guys may even use it...
How can anybody put powder on their nose in the car without a mirror. Do these manufacturers expect us to walk around with a light colored blob on our noses?

I am also pretty sure that MAC's "studio Fx" powder has a mirror too.
Hope that helps!!

(10,044 posts)Didnit think I'd get any responses on this, and I even thought somebody might alert me for posting something this unimportant (to them) in this group.
I am going to look into all of them - thank you so much, really and sincerely...

(10,044 posts)The more I put on the worse I look. It seems that old people look good in pictures or TV with lots of makeup - but in person it's scary.
My sister, long deceased, used to dye her hair red, saying that it was okay because I had red hair and it ran in the family. Mine has turned sort of beigy (not grey) and hers was maroon at age 79.
Oh, speaking of old, I've tried biotin capsules and it's helping my hair, both in qaulity, quantity, and some red hairs are reappearing after 20 years...I'm 74.
Every little bit helps, get some help, give some help...

(16,334 posts)It's small and has a mirror. I love mary kay's makeup and they have different sized compacts with mirrors. You change out just the makeup part so you don't need to replace the compact.

That was not a GD post. It just wasn't.
