It's really about how Republicans treat the staff.

Scott Prouty brought his camera to the fund-raiser because he'd worked one not long before for Bill Clinton. Afterwards, Clinton went back, greeted the staff, posed for photos. That's what Democrats do at these kinds of events. Not Republicans.

I used to be quite involved in Democratic Party politics in a midwestern state. We had our big political thing at the largest hotel in our state capitol, the same hotel that the Republicans (the dominant party in that state) also used. Our speakers (and I saw Clinton speak one year, Barack Obama the next) always made a point of thanking the hard-working hotel staff. Some of the hotel staff told us that the Republicans never did that.

Isn't that just special?

he came in and started barking orders to chop chop. Did not go over well with our Mr Scott Prouty.
