Fox Affiliate Celebrates 'Women’s Day at the Capitol' With Breasts

Local Connecticut Fox affiliate WTIC in Hartford had a rather unique way of celebrating Women's History Month, with long panning shots of women's breasts. At least 51% of their viewers were not amused and complained loudly as the segment ran twice. WTIC for their part tweeted this today:

Connecticut's Fox affiliate covered an International Women's Day march in Hartford, but the cameraman seemed to think that the assignment was less about focusing on the achievements of women and the struggle they've overcome, and more about pretty much just some lady's boobs. For a good 13 seconds. And that's it.

Although, the barely-concealed disgust of the female anchor might be even funnier than the regrettable cutaway.

And this appeared to be no accident -- when they did a shorter version of the segment later in the hour, they reran the exact same footage. WTF, Fox CT?

They are an embarrassment to television broadcasting.
(Notice I didn't suggest they are in the news business)

There is no way that happened by accident. First, the camera person had to videotape it. Then someone had to show it. No way that video does not get reviewed before they showed it. The camera person and the producer should both be looking for other work.
