(8,492 posts)Several of those pics brought tears to my eyes. I think my favorite is the two 'young' ladies in the roller coaster. They remind me of my grandmother and her sister.

(10,597 posts)In this horrible nightmare of a world, we need smiles, and you have certainly provided them today. 35 of them. The one that sticks out to me is the dog costumed up to look like 2 dogs carrying a gift in the parade. Ah, so many good ones. And the one of the lady that found her cat who had been missing for a year. Smiles are good. Almost like love...

(28,443 posts)Maybe it was the little dog running down the parade route, which I'd seen before. I've also seen the photographer and the fox before, and the Louis Armstrong picture. Love the shot of the brother holding the sign pledging to care for his brother - that was Kleenex moment. Thank you so much for sharing this.
