So, their all other issues -- economics, war, justice -- would all depend on whether they and theirs are personally impacted?!1 Nothing about putting themselves in somebody else's places?!1 Lack of empathy, what's that called: socio-pathology or whatever?

they're both on the right side of the issue now. Condemning them when they're wrong, then condemning them when they're right seems silly and counter-productive. We NEED people to change their minds on this issue. Attacking them when they do is just nonsensical.

would've been considered wingnuts on this issue 30 years ago.

Minds were changed, one-by-one, mostly by people coming out of the closet. Then people realized they knew and loved a gay person.

This is how progress happens. On this one issue, the Senator has seen the light. It's an opportunity to be grateful. Attacking him for it is just dumb.

when you are personally addressing somebody, is an indirect personal attack. Please address the two O.P.(s) you have posted your opinions in.

I just checked myself. Found two ticks and a mole I should get checked out.

If you think my previous comments were an "attack" you need a sensitivity-check. I addressed the arguments, not the poster(s).

Not all Catholics believe the same.

My Mom was a very devout Catholic who had 2 gay nieces and a gay nephew. She could not care less. She loved them all.

Quit being so bitter. We have a new Pope. Done.

Portman the Republican Doucebag changes his Homophobic ways because he has a gay son.

Maybe if the dumb ass homophobic Pope had a gay son he might change his way.

I hate fucking Homophobic Douchebags, I hate them with a passion.

Oh and by the way---that's the fucking purpose of my fucking thread.

Um, you need help.

So much more to say, but I'll let it go, cause you are obviously fragile.

God bless you, as my Dad would say to people that go way over the top.

Have a nice weekend.

One can be married, have a child, have the wife die, decide to go into the priesthood, rise up through the ranks, and become Pope.

and make him pope ..

Past popes include folks from rich and connected families( mostly the Medicis )

One of the popes John XXIII ( Listed now as an anit-pope) even was ex-pirate ( so no saying how many kids he might have had)
