Until we are honest that our own party is *also* working against us, we will not be able to fix a damned thing.

The corporate war against us is bipartisan. That is why fierce opposition to it among the people needs to be bipartisan, too. We need *everyone* to scream bloody murder about what both Democrats and Republicans are doing, because they are doing it TOGETHER, and it is predatory.

At a certain point we have to stop the knee-jerk partisan response of attacking only the other team instead of focusing on the oligarchs and their purchased politicians in BOTH parties who are impoverishing ALL of us.

This is how they keep us divided. This is how they keep the agenda going, by making sure we hate each other so much that we cannot conceive of uniting to stop them.

The corporate assaults are deadly serious now, and they are bipartisan. We need to be uniting now across the country, Democrats, Republicans...ALL OF US...to stop what they are doing to ALL of us.

The corporatists in Washington, Republicans and Democrats alike, certainly aren't resting.

most deeply hurt by their policies by and large don't vote. There are some on DU that rail against the 1%, or the wealthy in general, yet don't give a single minute of credence to the fact if people that are the most deeply hurt by republican policies registered and voted, republicans would change their policies or get booted out of office. The self appointed "progressives" would rather bash President Obama and democratic leaders than admit the problem lies with people that need government help, but who don't care to vote to protect their interests.

I was out one day and heard a guy railing against President Obama and Executive Orders. The fool said that all President Obama did was write Executive Orders. The fact that President Obama would have to write 100% more Executive Orders than he has written to match the total for George W Bush was completely lost on the conservative idiot. The fact President Obama would have to write 164% more Executive Orders to match the total of Ronald Reagan was equally lost of that fucking moron. I realized that arguing with stupid is futile and didn't make an attempt to correct the ignorant piece of shit.

Are becoming aware of the counter-productive nature of modern Republicans. The fact that President Obama was re-elected shows a growing knowledge of the narrow, self serving, destructive nature of the GOP policies that has been allowed to fester in our nation.

If this will translate to a removal of these puss-filled cankers on the American political landscape remains to be seen. If it does NOT happen, it won't be for lack of evidence.

Our activism, as well as our insistence that our leaders follow a progressive agenda, will tilt the balance for a greater future for our nation.

I hope the environment can wait!

Peace out
