education and right to die champion ex-WA gov Booth Gardner dies at 76

He had been battling Parkinson's for a long time. WA is currently violating its state constitution by not fully funding k-12 education. We need another Booth Gardner.

He used politics to help the regular people. He started Basic Health, stopped discrimination against gay people in state government, started Running Start, health programs, early learning, environmental protections and more.

He was a good man who worked for the people, and I wish there were more like him.
