Boehner: ‘I can’t imagine’ supporting a gay son’s marriage

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/03/17/boehner-i-cant-imagine-supporting-a-gay-sons-marriage/

“Can you imagine yourself in a situation where you reversed your decision as Portman has on gay marriage if a child of yours or someone you loved told you they were gay?” Raddatz pressed.

“I believe that marriage is the union of one man, one woman,” Boehner repeated. “It’s what I grew up with, it’s what I believe, it’s what my church teaches me.”

“And I can’t imagine that position would ever change.”

There is a long list of other things his church surely teaches him, that he,as illustrated by his actions, thoroughly ignores....Why not this?...

Chris Hayes had a segment on that, in regards to Portman's change of heart.

John Boehner is devoid of any empathy.

....but in the meantime, he should try really talking with a few GOP Tea-Nazis with gay family members who are far more conservative than he is.

I think he has 11 brothers and sisters, one or two may be gay. Hey Boner, any brothers or sisters never married? Boner needs to look deeper in his own blood line. John Boner listening to everything except the Constitution.

And I can't imagine what it's like to go through life with a
tunnel vision perspective of the things that matter most.

Funny how church teachings are always so much more important when talking about OTHER people.
