Many people have proposed that we have a Memorial Group to commemorate our DUers who have passed...
Today I got the go-ahead from Skinner. (See my post in AtA.)
He would like us to put together a list of names.
So, if you knew any DUer who has died, post the name here. Once we do that, we'll get our Group.

Hate to say it, but I was a little disappointed. It was funny if you were already "on board", but didn't offer much to people who weren't already opposed to Bush (like my guest).

I was very shocked at her passing away like she left.

I googled to make sure I got the user name right. The thread that came up was one saluting Andy Stephenson. 
She was a very sweet and funny lady. Always mad love for her posts. Thoughts are with her family.

I never met him although I live close and we did have a few DU meetups, he was never there. I will never forget one election. I had to be in Kansas City as one of my sons had a very important gig to play. I was totally freaked out about the local elections and he kept me sane sending me text messages of all the returns as they came in. Bless his heart. What a great guy.

Had a great sense of humor, down to earth, his jokes were the groaner types I liked.
Miss him greatly
He wrote a final post most likely weeks or even days before the end, heartbreaking, always wish someone had contact info to let his family know how much he meant to all of us.
Don't think there was a person on the boards who didn't like him.

I knew him as Brian.
His dear friend, Mark, contacted me today to share the sad news and to ask that I tell all of you at DU.
Brian loved this board, Mark said. He loved people and was the kindest of souls, this I know for certain.
I'm so sad right now, Brian was the nicest DU member I've ever known.
