Ha - Fox News was on in the break room in my office

and, the headline screaming across the bottom of the page was about how Boehner is getting ripped by Republicans for saying on the Sunday talk shows that the debt is not an immediate crisis.

Usually, I change the channel as soon as I get into the break room if Fox is on, but I kept it on this time until I was ready to leave.

stirring up for years and years. Now, Boner has the zany tea party lions out chasing his ass. He won't be able to get them back into their cages, but they WILL get him into their belly. Once Boner and the alleged "establishment" republicans have been eliminated, the tea-nuts will go insane from their limited new found power and get slaughtered by democrats, to fore-ever vanish.

Boner is going to be propped up by President Obama, the Grand Bargain lives. There are two competing Spending Bills going, one in the House(Lying Ryan's)and one in the Senate(to pacify Bernie and a couple other progressives),these will be merged in the next few weeks. Grand Bargain=Middle Class and Seniors get the shaft while Wall Street gets the Gold Mine. It's all about getting your buds reelected in 2014. USA USA!!!!!!!

There are break rooms in office buildings? I never thought of that. However, the only "office" buildings I have been in are banks and their offices seem to be pretty wide open.

Until just now, I had never realized that I have never been into a conventional office building. Except for friends in medical and (some) legal practices, I don't believe I even know anyone who doesn't office out of their home.

But I love it that Fox is tearing Johnny a new one.

with a water color, refrigerator, microwave, a sink, a couple of small tables, some vending machines and a TV.

I've worked in several office buildings with areas like that - especially since it's too small a company to have its own cafeteria.

I always thought that people who work in buildings would have to go out for lunch.

there is a guy that has a small food place where you can get sandwiches, burgers, etc. Plus, within a mile drive of where I work, there are dozens of good restaurants.

So, it's a mix - some people bring their own lunches & heat them up, some people go to the sandwich shop, and some people go out to a local restaurant.
