Glenn Beck thinks video games are more dangerous than guns

First, railing against the "gun grabbers" - because once they take our guns, they are of course going to enslave us all.

Second, Newtown was caused by Adama Lanza watching violent video games. These violent video games have to be stopped. But not the guns.


We have entered the time where logic has no meaning.

6. It makes me ill to have to agree with that POS but I think games are dangerous.

Why do progressives dismiss the pyschological and sociological effects of violent games but denounce slick marketing? Companies spend billions in ads because advertising effects attitudes and behaviors. There is no argument about the pernacious effects of marketing.
Yet video games which are as slick and compelling as ads are regarded as having no effect whatsoever on behavior. The distinction people make between the two is irrational. Both effect behaviors.

Then again if only Glenn Beck spent anytime thinking he wouldn't have a show. His whole show is based on giving voice to ideas too stupid that normal people would be embarrassed to give voice to them.

Unfortunately, I truly believe that Beck does think about things and this is all he can come up with.
